Configurable Dark Fibre Networks
D3IP operates a dark fibre network that is configurable and can be utilised for experimentation in conjunction with our 5G infrastructure. It spans Dorset Innovation Park and extends south to Lulworth Ranges, north to Blandford Camp, and east into Bournemouth.
Stellar Network
The Stellar dark fibre network supports experimentation at the Defence BattleLab and Chesil House Test Range at Dorset Innovation Park. It also supplies the park’s 5G masts, along with those at Lulworth Ranges.
Interstellar Network
Our Interstellar IP network sits above Stellar and enables private networks to be configured and operated for the purposes of experimentation.
